Education Initiative/Outreach
Our Education Initiative was designed to eliminate educational disparities, prepare students to realize their fullest intellectual potential and equip individuals to acquire marketable skills to improve their earning power.MBI Research Institute's Education Initiative encourages academic excellence through two pilot programs:
- MBI Scholastic Achievement Prize: a prize is awarded to the highest-achieving outgoing student in primary schools. Our pilot program is at Villa Maria Primary School. Awardees receive educational supplies and a monetary award of $100.
- MBI Literacy Program/Reading Program: This pilot program at Villa Maria Elementary School awards certificates and small prizes to third graders who complete the reading program pioneered by MBI. Books for the program are donated from schools and libraries in the U.S.
